DAN STACY – OWNER/EXECUTIVE CHEF

Dan Stacy is the Owner and Executive Chef of Royal Fig Catering.  With over 10 years of catering and fine dining experience, Dan has worked at various restaurants and country clubs in the Austin and Houston areas.  Arriving in Austin in 2008 from a 2 year stay in New York City, Dan cooked under Harold Dieterle, the winner of Top Chef, Season 1 at his restaurant, Perilla, in the West Village.  He has also cooked for many celebrities at the famous Soho House members only hotel featured on the TV Show, “Sex and the City.”  A well-rounded chef, he enjoys cooking with fresh seasonal ingredients in a variety of styles and cultivating his own vegetable and herb garden.

KRISTEN STACY – CO-OWNER/DIRECTOR OF SPECIAL EVENTS

A food enthusiast and experienced in marketing and sales, Kristen spent 10 years using her talents expanding arts-in-education programs in Cleveland, OH, New York City, and Austin.  An experienced event planner, Kristen is known for her creativity and attention to detail, having planned dinner parties, large scale fundraisers, workshops, and Austin weddings.

NATALIE OSBORNE – EVENT COORDINATOR FOR LA PALOMA EVENT CENTER

Natalie Osborne comes to Royal Fig with a bachelor’s degree in Marketing and a professional background in the building and construction industry.  That same interest in design, spatial planning, and project management that were the keys to her success in the business are what lead her to pursue a new career in event planning.  Natalie enjoys helping others realize their creative concepts and putting people at ease with her hospitality.  As she works toward completing an MBA at the University of Texas, Natalie fulfills the role of Event Coordinator for Royal Fig.

JASON FRESHLY – FRONT OF HOUSE MANAGER

With years of experience in and around the hospitality industry, Jason has experienced everything from running local restaurants to managing large hotel operations.  His latest move from South Florida to Austin brought a new sense of food ingredients, service styles, and event details.  If it’s food related, Jason doesn’t shy away.  With a degree in Culinary Arts, and his love of the hospitality industry, Austin and Royal Fig Catering are a perfect fit.
