DAN STACY – CO-OWNER/EXECUTIVE CHEF
Dan Stacy is the Owner and Executive Chef of Royal Fig Catering. With over 12 years of catering and fine dining experience, Dan has worked at various restaurants and country clubs in the Austin and Houston areas. Arriving in Austin in 2008 from a 2 year stay in New York City, Dan cooked under Harold Dieterle, the winner of Top Chef, Season 1 at his restaurant, Perilla, in the West Village. He has also cooked for many celebrities at the famous Soho House members only hotel featured on the TV Show, “Sex and the City.” A well-rounded chef, he enjoys cooking with fresh seasonal ingredients in a variety of styles and cultivating his own vegetable and herb garden.

KRISTEN STACY – CO-OWNER
A food enthusiast and experienced in marketing and sales, Kristen spent 10 years using her talents expanding arts-in-education programs in Cleveland, OH, New York City, and Austin. An experienced event planner, Kristen is known for her creativity and attention to detail, having planned dinner parties, large scale fundraisers, workshops, and Austin weddings.

TRAVIS BENNETT – SOUS CHEF
Travis is both knowledgeable and passionate about the ever changing Culinary World. Having graduated from the Italian Culinary Academy in New York and Parma, Italy, he traveled around Italy honing his skills and returned to New York to work for Iron Chef contestant Tony Liu at Morandi Trattoria in Greenwich Village. He returned to Austin in 2010 with hopes of cooking with, and learning more about, the unique organic products that Austin has to offer. With a Grand Diploma in Italian Cuisine, Travis enjoys using the finest, freshest elements in his cooking and letting the ingredients speak for themselves.

JESSE MARTIN – EVENT COORDINATOR
Having graduated with a degree in Liberal Arts, it wasn’t until after school that Jesse discovered his real love was in the Culinary Arts and hospitality industry. He has 8 years of experience working in multiple award winning restaurants and catering companies. After spending 5 years running a catering company in Nashville, Jesse moved to Austin, bringing with him a sense of southern hospitality and service style that fits right in with Royal Fig!
