Following Royal Fig’s successfully lively and tasty Artisan Dinner featuring Antonelli’s Cheese Shop last month, we are excited to announce this month’s local collaborator: CONFITURAS–maker of hand-crafted jams, jellies, confits and preserves! We would like to personally invite you to the dinner, which will take place at The Harvest Room at Royal Fig, a private dining and event space adjacent to Royal Fig’s Westlake kitchens. The Harvest Room, with a capacity of about 40, serves as a versatile space not only for Royal Fig’s multi-series supper club, but also rehearsal dinners, showers, cocktail parties, corporate events and functions of all kinds. Chef Dan Stacy has created a tantalizing 5-course menu to showcase Confituras’ Central Texas creations with Royal Fig’s artfully simple cuisine, thoughtfully made with the freshest seasonal ingredients from local farms and purveyors:

 Passed Appetizer of Fried Squash Blossoms with Blueberry Basil Jam Crème Fraiche
 Amuse-Bouche of Duck Sausage with Blackberry Jam and Lime
 1st Course: Cold Smoked Scallop with Tomato Confit
 2nd Course: Grilled Pork Belly with Pickled Blueberry Gastrique
 3rd Course: Pan Roasted Quail with Summer Squash and Green Tomato Jam
 4th Course: Wild Boar Chops with Ginger Peach Glaze and Grilled Broccolini
 5th Course: Bourbon Brown Sugar Peach Panna Cotta

This event is B.Y.O.B.–diners are encouraged to bring their favorite wines, brews or other beverages to compliment the meal.

We would like to announce our new event space, right next door to our Westlake kitchens: The Harvest Room at Royal Fig!

The space will play host to rehearsal dinners, corporate events, cocktail parties, showers and functions of all kinds. To introduce you to the exclusive new space, we would like to invite you to the premiere of our multi-series supper club: The Artisan Dinner Featuring Antonelli’s Cheese Shop.

Chef Dan Stacy has created a brilliant five-course menu for this event with Antonelli’s Cheesemonger Paul Kiry—both will be present at the meal to discuss the selections. The event is B.Y.O.B., so diners are encouraged to bring beverages of their choice.

Seating is extremely limited and reservations can be secured with a credit card #/expiration date for $65 per person.

We are just in love with these photos by Katherine O’Brien that were taken at Mercury Hall a couple of months ago. The couple wanted a casual pig roast, and we certainly delivered! The father of the bride even made a custom pig carving board and signed it for the couple.
