Brazos Hall is perfect for events of all sizes, but truly shines when looking for a space to accommodate large scale events. Royal Fig has catered weddings of over 325 guests and corporate events of up to 700 people here.
Brazos Hall offers a cool rustic backdrop mixed with a unique industrial vibe for the more modern couple, but also serves as a blank slate, where you can let your creativity take hold. They offer two separate spaces, a spacious indoor space and an airy outdoor rooftop patio. These two spaces can be rented together or separately, so you can customize your event experience. For table and chair needs, they have you covered – black folding chairs, 72″ dining tables, as well as cocktail tables are included in your pricing. The staff even takes care of the setup and cleanup of the tables and chairs. If a band will be playing at your reception, you’ll find the set-up is perfect with a large stage area and rigging points for specialized lighting needs.
Their staff also take care of the bar (one less item on your vendor list!). Also, you can bring in the alcohol of your choice or have them host a bar for you – which can be a huge perk when it comes to choosing the perfect space for you.
While Brazos Hall does not come with a catering kitchen, Royal Fig is able to bring our mobile catering kitchen to cater your meal (although specialized meals may require special equipment rental). Beautiful catering options exist for both family style catered meals with our fresh, local catering options as well as distinct food stations spread out across the venue space.
Several other tips about of holding a wedding or special event at Brazos Hall:
– A great rain contingency plan with a covered rooftop area, or the ability to holding both the ceremony and reception in the downstairs part of Brazos Hall (a set up that Royal Fig has executed numerous times).
– Numerous churches close by if you would prefer a church ceremony prior to your reception.
– While a wedding planner is not required, it is highly recommended due to the logistics of load in and load out in a downtown space.
After your special event is over, book a hotel within walking distance to continue the party, or hire a local Pedi cab company to help transport your guests back to local hotels!
